The Lodge at Mount Rivers is just a short drive from the village of Gresford, 1 hour from the Pokolbin (Hunter Valley) vineyards and only 2 hours and 30 minutes from Sydney.

The closest major airport is Newcastle Airport and is 1 hours drive from the property. The closest international airport is Sydney Airport which is 2 hours and 30 minutes from the property. There are several other smaller airports and airfields a short distance from the property but these would only be suitable if flying in or out privately or via helicopter transfer.

Yes, we are pet friendly! Please note that we permit a maximum of 2 dogs at the property at any one time. A $30 per pet fee is applicable for all bookings that include pets.

Yes, there are noise restrictions across our area. The curfew is no music outside the house after 10:30pm. All other noise must be minimal.

To ensure you have the best time possible, we require accommodation to be booked with venue hire to give you exclusive access to the property!

We have a dedicated wedding and event coordinator who will be there every step of the way from site viewings, discussing packages, creating your documents, to coordinating your day/s.

Absolutely, at The Lodge we dedicate the venue space to each event. We do not want you to feel rushed, so the day is included with property hire
for ceremony, photos and/or reception.

Styling including florals, candles, table decorations etc are not included in hire. These can be sourced and brought in by the client.
